Definitions of Master and slave
by MasterTaino over 2 years ago
It is often said that if you ask one hundred Masters and/or slaves for their definitions of what a Master is and what a slave is, you will get one hundred different definitions.
I think it will be a good exercise to do just that. To see how our peers define their Mastery and their slavery.
So this thread is intended for all of you to write your own definitions of what a Master is and what a slave is for you.
Let’s do this is a respectful manner as we can even alter or change our own definitions when we see what others have to contribute.
So I am going to start with my own definitions:
- “A Master is a very special and unique human being who craves to take responsibility for the well-being, growth and development of his/her slaves” *
- “A slave is a very special and unique human being who craves to surrender in service and obedience to the Master he/she trusts and respects”. *
The keywords in my definitions are “RESPONSIBILITY” and “SURRENDER”, elements who are required for a real Master/slave relationship to exist.
When I say that both the Master and the slave “craves”, I mean that it comes from the heart, thus it is who we are.
We look forward to hear now your own definition
